Myshell Tabu is the brains and soul behind Myshell Tabu Designs. Fueled by a lifelong love of design and a need to exert some creative energy, her graphic design business was launched in 2008 after leaving the corporate world to stay at home with her kids.
Myshell has professional design experience since 2008, including a background in various areas of marketing and publicity -- writing press releases, bookings, grant writing, web design, flyer design, and branding. Logo design is by far her favorite.
Since starting her company, Myshell has designed for Children's Defense Fund, South Central Los Angeles Regional Center, It Works, Black Association of Documentary Filmmakers West, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, Lula Washington Dance Theatre, BrownStone Magazine, and many more non-profits, solo artists, small businesses and startups.
