Myshell Tabu is the brains and soul behind Myshell Tabu Designs. Fueled by a lifelong love of art and a need to exert some creative energy, her graphic design business was launched in 2008 after leaving the corporate world to stay at home with her kids.
Myshell's professional design experience includes a background in various areas of marketing and publicity -- front end development (web design), copy writing, grant writing, and branding. Logo design is by far her favorite.
Since starting her company, Myshell has designed for Children's Defense Fund, South Central Los Angeles Regional Center, It Works, Black Association of Documentary Filmmakers West, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, Lula Washington Dance Theatre, and a host of non-profits, solo artists, small businesses and startups.
